Comet's amazing Journey!
Getting an adjustment
from Dr. Szabo & Dr.
Edsell
Comet can now walk around the room several times
without falling down or scooting. She can navigate the
doggy door and can go up or down one step. she can
go outside, as she will walk, not scoot!
Comet stands easily without support during her diaper
changes and her baths. She is walking up the ramp to
leave the pool.
Even more exciting... Comet has been adopted by one
of the women that got to know her during her swim
therapy. Her new big (doggy) brother is also in swim
therapy.
Comet is loving all the attention her new mommy &
brother are giving her!
Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Szabo. Without her
dedication and commitment to helping Comet, Comet
would still be scooting.
Comet came to us 6 months after being hit by a car. She was semi
paralyzed and the vets felt that the nerve damage was permanent and
there was nothing we could do to fix her.
4 years later Comet was still with us, still scooting, but now her spine
was curving due to the way she moved to get around.
One of our foster homes found out about swim therapy with Dr. Szabo &
we excitedly went to the vet & got permission to give it a try.
After just a few swims, Comet was walking 15 or more steps at a time.
Dr. Szabo also started giving her chiropractic adjustments.
